![]() My wife and I just moved to SoCal and were excited to be near Vegas and find a place we could join a club and return to on a regular basis. But it was embarrassing and disappointing. But we weren't prepared to pay $75 admission for just popping into a club when we found out that these tickets were worthless (we are a bit older than the normal club patron and wouldn't have stayed long enough to make that admission worth it). This was a surprise since they came right from the Caesar's check-in agent who made it seem like it would be a fun night seeing a nationally known DJ. The hotel gave us comp tickets at check in for the nightclub but when we arrived the bouncer said "these are worthless, there are thousands of these on the strip, we don't honor these". It was only because I had the printout of our reservation with the correct price on it that did he fix it, and he actually said "it's a good thing you brought that or we wouldn't have been able to change it". He kept looking at his screen saying "this is what the rate is". We booked a special rate in advance online at Caesar's and when we checked in the rate the agent quoted was quite a bit more than we booked it for (how does that happen when it's all automated?!!!). ![]() ![]()
